Refund & Cancellation Policy — EveryPenny

Last updated: 2026-09-02.

EveryPenny's paid tier (Penny+) is sold as a subscription (monthly or yearly) or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. This page explains how cancellations and refunds work. Which rules apply depends on where you bought — through Apple on the App Store, or on our website.

Where you bought matters

Free trial

Annual Penny+ may include a 7-day free trial. You are not charged if you cancel before the trial ends. If you don't cancel, the subscription renews at the price shown at checkout.

Cancelling a web subscription

You can cancel anytime — from the link in your purchase-confirmation email (the Paddle buyer portal) or by emailing us (below). When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and it won't renew after that. We don't provide partial refunds for the unused part of a period, except where the law requires it (see below).

EU/EEA & UK right of withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services for a full refund. Exception: when you start using a subscription immediately, you are asked at checkout to agree that performance begins right away and to acknowledge that you lose the 14-day withdrawal right once it does. If you agree and we begin providing the service, the withdrawal right no longer applies. This does not affect your statutory rights where the service is faulty or not as described.

Lifetime purchases

Lifetime is a one-time payment, no renewal — so there is nothing to cancel. The EU/EEA & UK 14-day withdrawal right above applies to a Lifetime purchase the same way it applies to a subscription, with the same immediate-performance exception. After that window there are no partial refunds of a Lifetime purchase, except where the law that applies to you requires one.

"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the service: as our Terms explain, if EveryPenny is ever permanently discontinued we will give at least 90 days' in-app notice and keep data export available; a Lifetime purchase made within the 12 months before discontinuation is refunded pro-rata.

When we will refund

We'll refund a web purchase if:

Refunds go back to your original payment method via Paddle, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

How to ask

Email [email protected] with the email you used at checkout and a short note about what happened — Ihor reads every message. For App Store purchases, use Apple's reportaproblem.apple.com as above.
