Refund & Cancellation Policy — EveryPenny
Last updated: 2026-06-15.
EveryPenny is a subscription app (Penny+). This page explains how cancellations and refunds work. Which rules apply depends on where you bought your subscription — through Apple on the App Store, or on our website.
Where you bought matters
- Bought on the App Store (in-app): Apple is the seller. Cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — we can't issue or see these refunds. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, and request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Bought on our website: payments are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle.com, who appears on your statement and issues any refund. The rest of this page covers web purchases.
Free trial
Annual Penny+ may include a 7-day free trial. You are not charged if you cancel before the trial ends. If you don't cancel, the subscription renews at the price shown at checkout.
Cancelling a web subscription
You can cancel anytime — from the link in your purchase-confirmation email (the Paddle buyer portal) or by emailing us (below). When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and it won't renew after that. We don't provide partial refunds for the unused part of a period, except where the law requires it (see below).
EU/EEA & UK right of withdrawal (14 days)
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services for a full refund. Exception: when you start using a subscription immediately, you are asked at checkout to agree that performance begins right away and to acknowledge that you lose the 14-day withdrawal right once it does. If you agree and we begin providing the service, the withdrawal right no longer applies. This does not affect your statutory rights where the service is faulty or not as described.
When we will refund
We'll refund a web purchase if:
- you were charged in error or double-charged;
- the app was materially broken for you and we couldn't fix it in a reasonable time; or
- a refund is required by the consumer law that applies to you.
Refunds go back to your original payment method via Paddle, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
How to ask
Email [email protected] with the email you used at checkout and a short note about what happened — Ihor reads every message. For App Store purchases, use Apple's reportaproblem.apple.com as above.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date reflects the latest version. Material changes are announced on this page.
